Johannes Sperling is part of the expert team of SaxFDM, the Saxon state’s initiative to support research data management. After graduating from the Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden) with a diploma in psychology, he worked for eight years as a research assistant in various research projects, including in research data management as part of the Service Center Research Data of TU Dresden and SLUB since 2019. Since 2022, he has been working for SaxFDM as an employee of the GWZO, contributing both his years of IT experience and his psychological perspective. His work consists in offering consulting on research data management and supporting project applications and project planning in this regard, as well as giving lectures and training courses.
