About

Moritz Kurzweil was born in Dresden-Friedrichstadt. He studied East and Southeast European history, Russian culture and language and journalism at Leipzig University. From 2008 to 2014, he was a student assistant at the library of GWZO and from 2014 to 2017 Scientific Assistant at the library of GWZO. He has been focussing on research data management (RDM) since 2016.

Since June 2017, Moritz Kurzweil has been a researcher and research data manager at the GWZO and been involved in the third-party funding projects OstData and SaxFDM.
