Research Departments and Teams
The GWZO has four research departments: »Humans and Environment«, »Culture and Imagination«, »Entanglements and Globalisation« and »Knowledge and Participation«. In addition, there are two junior research groups: »Global Armenia/ns« and »Contrasting East-Central Europe«. The VW Freigeist junior research group »The Dantean Anomaly« works within the »Humans and Environment« department. Each team’s research is complemented and connected to others thanks to five overarching research themes from which the working groups emerged.
