    Lorenz Förtig has been working as a student assistant in Department I »Humans and Environment« at the GWZO since 2022. He completed his bachelor's degree in Archaeology and History of Ancient Europe at the University of Leipzig and is currently studying for a master's degree in Medieval and Modern Archaeology and Prehistoric Archaeology at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
