Status of compliance with requirements
Due to the incompatibilities and exceptions listed below, the websites of the Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO) are not yet fully BITV-optimised in all areas in accordance with the above guidelines.
Non-accessible content
The following sections are not yet fully accessible:
- Media and text alternatives for images, maps and videos
- Interactive map, podcasts, galleries and forms
- Calendar
- PDF documents and GWZO newsletters created with »Mailchimp«
The listed content is not accessible for the following reasons:
- Due to the large amount of older content and documents, we do not have the capacity to completely revise everything to make it accessible.
- If the effort required is too great, appropriate considerations must be made (see Article 5 »Disproportionate burden« of Directive (EU) 2016/2102).
- Various documents or applications have not yet been converted into an accessible format.
Measures to improve accessibility
We strive to continuously improve accessibility within the scope of our capabilities. New content is generally made accessible whenever possible.
Feedback and contact
If you notice any accessibility issues on this website, please send an email to oeffentlichkeit@leibniz-gwzo.de with the subject line »Accessibility«.
