About

Florence Langermann studied Egyptology at Leipzig University. From 2015 to 2019 she was a student research assistant at the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Leipzig. From 2020 to 2021, she worked as a student assistant for Leipzig University’s Computer Centre. From 2017 to 2020, she worked as a student assistant on anarchaeological research project at the Egyptian Museum of the University of Leipzig. From 2021 to 2025, she was part of the same project as a researcher.
Florence Langermann has been a researcher in the third-party funded project saxFDM at the GWZO since March 2025.

The GWZO is involved in the Saxon project »SaxFDM – Competence Team«. The project aims to test and expand Saxony-wide support services such as consulting, training and technical assistance for research data management (RDM).
