About
Pascal Klassert studied history, sociology, political science and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main. From 2019 to 2025 he held a position as a research assistant at the Institute of Sociology at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. In 2022, he worked as a tutor at the Institute of Philosophy at the same university. In 2023, he received a research fellowship from the Römisch-Germanische Kommission for his research on international Limes studies.
Pascal Klassert has been a PhD candidate and researcher at the GWZO since June 2025.

Film in the Annexed Territories of Poland and in the Protectorate of Bohemian and Moravia
In the annexed territories of Poland and in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, cinema was used as an instrument of National Socialist rule. The project examines the extent to which feature films were used as a means of implementing Germanisation policy.
