About
Pascal Klassert studied history, sociology, political science and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main. From 2019 to 2025 he held a position as a research assistant at the Institute of Sociology at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. In 2022, he worked as a tutor at the Institute of Philosophy at the same university. In 2023, he received a research fellowship from the Römisch-Germanische Kommission for his research on international Limes studies.
Pascal Klassert has been a PhD candidate and researcher at the GWZO since June 2025.

Film in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia
In the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, cinema served as a tool of National Socialist control. This project examines the extent to which feature films were employed in support of the Germanisation policy within the Protectorate.
